Description:
The MicroBT Whatsminer M50S is the successor to the M50. The M50S miner has many exciting features. With MicroBT Whatsminer M50S, the maximum hashrate you can get is 126 Th/s. In addition, the maximum power consumption of the miner is 3276W. The SHA-256 algorithm miner is scheduled for release in July 2022.
Both the M50S and M50 miners are standard slim casings that fit all MicroBT devices with a built-in power supply on top. Cooling is also possible thanks to two powerful fans located on the sides.
The miners are based on chips made by tech giant Samsung, using 5nm process technology. All work is also done on the SHA-256 algorithm, which allows you to mine Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, and other cryptocurrencies. The advantage is:
High productivity and long service life.
Rugged and reliable construction
Consistent quality work. During maximum load, the temperature remains at the same level with sufficient power dissipation.
There may be overclocking and flickering.
PROFITABILITY AND RETURN WHATMINER M50S
Depending on the model, returns and profitability will vary. Considering the machine cost and an average cost of electricity of $0.05 per 1 kWh, the profitability is as follows:
The M50S generates $660 per month, not much compared to the slightly weaker version, and will pay off in 15-16 months and hit a net profit a year before the next halving.
