It is easily dissolved in cold and hot water, resulting in solution with a wide range of viscosity, thin film and protective colloid. HEC is thickener of high concentration electrolyte. Its water-retaining capacity is twice as MC. It has good flow regulation. Which were widely used in the field of Latex painting, Macromolecule polymerizing, Petroleum drilling, Detergents and Cosmetics as well as Construction.
