Product Information
Magnesium hydrate fire retardants reduce the surface temperature of the flame, in which the synthetic materials are packed, by releasing hydrate water and absorbing a large amount of latent heat. These functions are restraining polymers from composition is also a good fire retardant material and can help to improve the refractory property of the synthetic materials, while the emitted vapor can be used as a kind of restraining smoke agent.
Properties
Nowadays magnesium hydrate is generally considered as an excellent fire retardant in the field of rubber plastic industry for its triple function inflaming retarding, smoke restraining and packing. Its molecular formula is Mg (OH) 2 and the molecular weight is 58.32 . It is a kind of nontoxic, and high decomposition temperature. And it doesn’t corrode equipments. So it is the first selected material to be used as organic high-polymer for producing non-halogen ting inflaming retarding.
