The single fourdrinier paper machine is usually used to make the high-strength and high quality corrugated paper. The twin wire paper machine(two fourdrinier wire)is used to make the higher quality paper.
The basic components of configuration are: wire section-- vacuum pickup device (optional) -- large-diameter press section -- dryer cylinder group -- size machine -- dryer cylinder group -- reeling machine. In order to improve finished paper uniformity and ring crush index, it uses twin wire.
Fourdrinier table length is usually between 13m and 24m.(decided by working speed).
It can select open-type headbox when the working speed is less than the 250m/min;
Select the air-cushioned headbox when the working speed is more than 250m/min.
The dewatering components are usually uses the stainless steel vacuum suction box. Full ceramic girder or inserted ceramic girder.
It has two stages large-diameter press, top felt and bottom felt for dewatering. Cast iron rubber blind roll.
It usually has three kinds of diameter: Φ1250mm, Φ1350mm, Φ1500mm. The large diameter can improve press nip width, dewatering effect, wet sheet strength and finished paper density. It can use the vacuum pickup device according to the working speed when transfer the wet sheet.
It usually uses several dryer cylinder groups with the diameter of Φ1500mm or Φ1800mm. drive: closed gear box each dryer group single drive or single gear box each dryer group multi-points drive.
When wet paper enters into dryer section, it can select different leading way and paper orientation according to PM working speed, production basis weight and pulp impurity.
The wetting size can increase about 180% finished paper ring crush index. It can select horizontal pneumatic reeling machine or horizontal pope reeling machine according to the working speed.
Now we introduce the technical proposal and structural drawing of low basis weight but high quality, high-strength corrugated paper machine, which we made for Baishan Qixiang Paper Company in Jinlin province, China. Their high quality and high-strength corrugated paper is the famous brand in China corrugated paper industry; we have only 2.5 hours drive to the company.
That trimmed width is 4400mm, the paper basis weight is 80~180g/sq.m. The working speed can reach to 400m/min. It uses the twin wire; the length of bottom wire is 23.5m, the length of top wire is 7.7m. It can select the single fourdrinier or twin wire according to the different actual needs.
It uses the air-cushion headbox, the vacuum suction box with stainless steel full ceramic girder. Two stages large-diameter double felt four blind rolls press independently. The roll diameter is Φ1500mm. There has one vacuum pickup device to strip the paper sheet from the wire section to the press section.
There are 38 (1~38) dryer cylinders with the diameter of Φ1800mm. The first and the second group have seven dryer cylinders with groove on the surface(U1~U7),the diameter is Φ1500mm.(UNO cylinder).
The leading type is single cylinder on-feed, the sheet moves toward outside of U1~ U7 cylinders felt surface. This structure can decrease the wet paper sheet breaking; wipe off the impurity on the surface and improve the quality of finished paper.
Drive type: each dryer cylinder group multi-points drive. It has no gear mutual-meshing, which is different from the closed gear box single-point drive. By this way, the noise can be reduced and maintenance become easily.
