Casting

Cast aluminum is a process in which molten aluminum is poured into a mold and cooled to form an aluminum member of a desired shape. The casting obtained from cast aluminum is called cast aluminum.

Bronze casting have excellent mechanical and physical properties. They can have a variety of strength, hardness, and toughness properties. They can also have one or more special properties, such as wear resistance, high temperature resistance, low temperature, and corrosion resistance.

Articles cast from molten iron are collectively referred to as cast iron pieces.

Steel castings are parts made of cast steel that have similar properties to cast iron but are stronger than cast iron.
