Cylinder paper machine is suitable for making the paper that has low requirement, which the web width is less than 4000 mm; the working speed is less than 200m/min.
Now it is mainly used to produce corrugated paper, cardboard paper, coated white board, grey bulk board, bobbin paper and sanitary paper.
The basic components of configuration are: cylinder (the number is decided by paper basis weight) -- plain press -- large dryer or dryer cylinder group -- sizing machine (optional) -- dryer cylinder group -- calender (optional) -- reeling machine.
According to the web width and the working speed, there always have three kinds of cylinder diameter: Φ1500mm, Φ1800mm, Φ2000mm.
Single cylinder finished paper basis weight is usually less than 80g/ sq.m., winding mold. According to the paper uniformity and working speed requirements, it can use the pressure former to starch.
Plain press usually use the roller diameter of Φ650~Φ900mm. According to the paper grade and press structure, it can use synthetic cast iron rubber roller or stone roller.
Press forms: K-type composite press, independent press, dryer cylinder bottom press, etc.
Dryer section can use the large dryer cylinder according to the paper grade and working speed requirements. The large dryer cylinder diameter: Φ2500mm and Φ3000mm. It can also use the dryer group, which diameter of Φ1500mm or Φ1800mm.
Open-type big gear drives; grease lubrication.
Sizing machine and calendar are optional (according to paper grade).
Reel: It usually uses the horizontal pneumatic reeling machine.
Drive section: The ABB frequency converter section dive.
Cylinder paper machine advantages: low cost, small paper consumption, small web index differences between vertically and horizontally.
Disadvantages: the web cannot be too widely, the basis weight cannot be too lowly; large paper basis weight deviation, low working speed and low output.
Now we introduce the technical proposal and structural drawing of cylinder paper machine, which we made for Guangda Paper Company in Jilin province, China.
This machine mainly producing the plain corrugated paper, high-strength surface-sizing corrugated paper, cardboard paper.
Web width: 3200mm
Basis weight: 90—200g/sq.m.
Average working speed can reach to 165m/min.
Wire section: 4 stainless steel winding molds with the diameter of Φ1500mm, each of molds have a pressure former to improve the paper uniformity and working speed. The wire section has a set of four back -heads suction press devices. The diameter of suction roll: Φ750mm; the diameter of press roll: Φ550mm.
The first stage: K-type combination press, it has a full wet web threading. The Cast iron rubber bottom roll diameter: Φ650mm, with drive device; the suction intermediate roll diameter: Φ750mm; with drive device; the stone top roll diameter: Φ700mm; with cutting squirt.
The second stage: double-felts press. The cast iron rubber blind bottom roll diameter: Φ800mm, with drive device; the cast iron rubber top roll diameter: Φ850mm, with blind drilled.
The third stage: single felt press; the cast iron rubber blind bottom roll diameter: Φ800mm; the top stone roll. As this kind of structure has no top felt, it can avoid the felt marks during the cardboard paper production.
Dryer section: 20 dryer cylinders with the diameter of Φ1500mm, which is divided into three groups: Two groups in front of sizing machine, each group has six dryer cylinders; one group on the back of sizing machine, there has eight dryer cylinders in all.
Sizing machine: low inclined double rubber rolls. Pneumatic loaded; fixed top roll diameter: Φ800mm; Bottom loading roll diameter: Φ815mm. This diameter difference between these two rubber rolls is to prevent the defect coincidence.
Calender: Four-roll structure, pressure nip is optional.
Bottom roll diameter: Φ700mm; Top roll diameters: Φ575mm, Φ450mm, Φ575mm.
Reel: horizontal pneumatic reeling machine.
The control module of drive control system center: Simens’ S7-300 series PLC.
Actuate module: ABB ACS800 series frequency conversion governor.
